Adult, Occasional, and Sale Quilts

This page features quilts for adults or that fall outside my other themes. They are included here to provide additional ideas for custom-made quilts. As with all of my quilts, proceeds will support a cause befitting the specific quilt theme or recipient.

This page also includes a listing of quilts that are already made and AVAILABLE FOR SALE. Simply find the quilt on its appropriate page to view it, then indicate the quilt name on the order form if you wish to purchase it.

Enjoy viewing these quilts!

This quilt is entitled "Ties that Bind" and was made using wonderful old mid-century silk neckties. It was foundation-pieced using silks and cottons. Due to the fragility of the silk, it was made as a wall quilt and measures 54 X 54.

The quilt below is entitled "Love Makes a Family," and these words are machine-embroidered all all four borders of the quilt. It was made for a couple who were celebrating their marriage and their adoption of their son, both finally occurring after the legalization of same-sex marriage and adoption rights in the District of Columbia. The quilt is made with dark pink triangles and rainbow stripes in a traditional Amish block, with a green print backing. It measures 48 X 54.
